Before you consult with us privately regarding your garden, please consider the cheaper alternatives that we offer throughout the season!!  

 

Volunteering on our farm is free.  Regular volunteers come away from their experience with enough basic knowledge to implement their own garden.  Furthermore, many organic farms accept volunteers, and our farm is not your only option.

 

We offer our Backyard Gardening class regularly in our Urban Homesteading courses.  More concentrated and in-depth than volunteering, this course teaches our organic gardening knowledge in a hands-on format to up to 20 students per class.  Each student receives a course packet with helpful planting guides, sample crop rotations, and more.

 

Private consultations provide on-sight insight to your gardening challenges.  If you truly have the black thumb, or you have extensive site-specific problems, a private consultation might make sense for you.  We offer one-on-one advice on what to grow, where to grow it, and how.  Individuals will receive extensive information packets, design guides, and a copy of Rodale’s Encyclopedia of Organic Gardening.

 

As consultants, we offer advice only, and will not physically implement any garden.

 

Fees:

 

Initial Consultation (including information packets and book): $175

Additional Consultations: $75/hr.
